About the author
Hieu Chi Nguyen is a software engineer, with a desire for design. Hieu has the most experience writing code in JavaScript, Python and currently working on Saltar - an easy way to build a website.
He was born in Dong Nai, Vietnam, attended high school. He went aboard at 17 years old, to live and study in Oxford, UK for 6 months. Then moved to Sydney, Australia for the next 7 years, where he attended TAFE for his Diploma in Software Development and completed a Bachelor in Information System at Western Sydney University
He was award with silver medals for both regional (Sydney, 2013) and national (Perth, 2014) Web Design and Development competition, organized by WorldSkill Australia, Outstanding Graduating Student (TAFE Sydney, 2013), Recognition Award (ACS, 2014)
He involved with a number of web app projects, developed Vasern - a database for mobile application, Leverest - a distributed database system. He also enjoy playing guitar, play games, write blogs or doing landscape photography in his free time
